Impacting Pediatric Health for a Lifetime... Naturally

A Holistic Evidence-based Practice

MEET YOUR physician

Hi! I'm Dr. Jannette Negron

I am a licensed board certified pediatrician. I am a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP) and Medical Academy of Pediatric Special Needs (FMAPS). I am passionate about pediatric health because I believe that every child has great potential and purpose regardless of their neurodevelopmental status. Therefore, if we optimize their health we can optimize their potential to fulfill their purpose. My approach involves both conventional and integrative medicine. My desire is to partner with parents like you, to empower and educate you to make changes that can positively impact your child's health. Changes that you can implement today. Changes that can impact their health and well-being for a life-time.

WE are here for you

What Sets Us Apart

Welcome to Mission Pediatric Total Wellness! We are a holistic evidence-based practice focusing on the whole child. Our approach is significantly different from the traditional, insurance-driven healthcare model. We focus on determining the root cause of a problem as opposed to just treating the symptoms. We understand that each child is unique and that the one-size fits all model is not always a good pathway to wellness. Therefore, we listen intently and evaluate individually to design a tailored approach for each child. We work with you as a team. I invite you to not just help your child "survive" but to help optimize their well-being.

Neurodevelopmental Support

Every child whether neurotypical or neurodivergent needs support to optimize their brain power as they go through all developmental stages of childhood.

Nutritional and Gut Support

Proper nutrition and gut health are important for optimal wellness. A clean diet and a healthy gut protects the immune, gastrointestinal and nervous systems. It protects the body from harmful substances that can cause inflammation and disease.

Detox and Immune Boosting

Toxins are an unavoidable part of our environment. Children are more vulnerable to their effects because of their developing bodies. Improving the liver’s ability to handle these toxins will enhance immunity and thus their health.

We have seen amazing progress thanks to Dr. Negron's guidance, and we truly feel like we’re part of a team working together to help our son live his best life.

YOUR NEXT STEPS

3 Steps To Getting Started

Getting started is as simple as 1-2-3.

STEP 1

Discovery Call

The Discovery call is a free call. It is an opportunity for you to briefly tell us about your child and the issues he/she is facing. It is also an opportunity for you to learn about our practice and how our approach can help. Sign up now, you have nothing to lose and better health to gain for your child.

STEP 2

Foundational Assessment

The Foundational Assessment is a 90-minute comprehensive appointment where we assess medical history, perform a complete physical exam and analyze ordered labs. This assessment gives us a clearer understanding of your child's issues and your goals. It helps us determine a plan to address root-cause instead of just treating symptoms. This is preliminary to the membership.

STEP 3

Ongoing Membership

The membership is designed to take a deep dive into the child's health issues and root-cause treatment. We start with the plan formulated in the Foundational Assessment and dig deeper. Membership consists of scheduled appointments for close follow up, education and adjustments to the plan as necessary. We will also determine the need for advanced testing. The goal is to take the time to identify the problem, address the root-cause and treat appropriately for lasting results.

Her knowledge of holistic medicine has been a game changer, offering us alternative therapies and dietary recommendations that have made a significant difference in his behavior, focus, and overall happiness.

Our holistic Approach

Help Your Child Thrive

the Natural Way

Integrative medicine is a holistic evidence-based approach that focuses on the whole child. Rarely do symptoms and disease occur in isolation. Our body parts were beautifully designed to function cohesively. No bodily system can function on its own. When things go wrong in one system, inevitably, other systems will be affected...it's only a matter of time. Due to time constraints in conventional medicine, the focus is usually on just treating the symptom, failing to identify other associations. As a provider I am always asking “why did this symptom start?” and “why now?” and "What else is contributing?". We look at every child as a whole unique individual understanding that bodies may respond differently to the same internal and external triggers. One symptom can have many causes, and one cause can produce many symptoms. Investigating root-cause allows us not only to determine why a problem occurs but also how to best treat it. Addressing the most basic needs in a child will often improve and even optimize their well-being. For this reason, we also take a close look at nutrition, sleep, physical activity, and environment which can all play a role in neurodevelopmental disorders, skin disorders, gastrointestinal disease, allergies, mental health disorders (just to name a few).

Nutrition

The purpose of food is to sustain life, provide energy and promote growth and repair of tissues. In general, food should be thought of as "medicine" to heal your body or "poison" that will destroy your body. The type of food you eat can impact gut health, the immune system, skin and the nervous system. Junk food can destroy the gut microbiome and cause inflammation contributing to chronic illness.

Sleep

In deep sleep the body repairs tissues, strengthens the immune system, supports brain function, plays a role in waste removal, is linked to the regulation of hormones (including GH) and promotes overall health and well-being. Poor sleep can impact the immune, endocrine and nervous systems contributing to chronic conditions.

Physical activity

Physical activity and active play not only help with physical health but also improves mood, sleep and brain function. Physical activity is important for healthy musculoskeletal and nervous systems. Lack of physical activity can contribute to obesity, behavioral and mental health disorders.

Detoxification

Our body will naturally detoxify if it receives the proper nutrients to do so. Children are more vulnerable to the negative effects of toxins because of their growing and developing bodies and suboptimal diet. Many toxins can stay in a child's body for years contributing to illness and neurodevelopmental problems. Detox helps the liver and gut perform optimally to help rid the body of these toxins. It also helps strengthen the immune system.

Mentorship

Through mentoring we listen intently, educate and empower you, guide you, hold you accountable, encourage you and celebrate your wins. We believe that mentoring a parent through this journey can help improve outcome. "Mentoring is a brain to pick, an ear to listen, and a push in the right direction" - Former US Representative John Crosby.

"It’s clear that she truly loves what she does and treats each patient with the utmost respect and kindness. We can’t recommend Dr. Negron enough. She’s a true gem in pediatric care, and we feel so blessed to have her guiding our child’s health journey."
